DeMar DeRozan (born August 7, 1989, in Compton, California) is a six-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection who currently plays for the Sacramento Kings, ranking fourth among active players on the NBA's all-time scoring list. During his nine seasons in Toronto, he became the franchise's all-time leading scorer and led the team to five playoff runs. He was later traded to the San Antonio Spurs (2018), Chicago Bulls (2021), and Sacramento Kings (2024), and won gold medals with Team USA at the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Known by the nickname "Deebo," DeRozan's consistent scoring, athleticism, and longevity have cemented his legacy as one of the NBA's premier guards of his generation.
