Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara (born July 25, 1995) is a star running back for the New Orleans Saints, drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft after a winding college career that took him from Alabama to Hutchinson Community College and finally to the University of Tennessee. Before college, he was a standout at Norcross High School in Georgia, earning the state's Mr. Football title and leading his team to a state championship. Kamara burst onto the NFL scene by winning the 2017 Rookie of the Year award and earned Pro Bowl selections in each of his first five seasons, along with two second-team All-Pro honors. In 2020, he made history by becoming only the second player in NFL history to score six rushing touchdowns and 36 points in a single game. Four years later, in 2024, he cemented his legacy by becoming the Saints' all-time leading rusher. His journey included a brief, difficult stint at Alabama before he found success at Tennessee, where he set a school record for rushing yards in a debut game.
