Ezri Konsa

Ezri Konsa (born 23 October 1997 in London) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or right-back for Premier League club Aston Villa and the England national team. Coming through the academy at Charlton Athletic, he later played for Brentford before joining Aston Villa in 2019. Konsa enjoyed significant youth international success, winning the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2018 Toulon Tournament with England, before making his senior international debut in March 2024. At club level, he has been a consistent performer for Villa, scoring his first Premier League goal in 2020 and notably netting a brace against Leicester City in 2021. He reached further heights by scoring his first UEFA Champions League goal against Paris Saint-Germain in April 2025, and later became Villa's vice-captain in November 2025. His career culminated in major silverware when he started in the 2026 UEFA Europa League final, which Aston Villa won 3-0.
