Michael Strahan (born November 21, 1971) is a legendary former NFL defensive end who played 15 seasons for the New York Giants, setting the single-season sack record and winning Super Bowl XLII in 2007 before his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014. After retiring, he became a major television personality, co-hosting Live! with Kelly and Michael and Good Morning America, winning two Daytime Emmy Awards, and currently hosting the game show Pyramid. In a remarkable post-football feat, Strahan flew to space on Blue Origin NS-19 on December 11, 2021, becoming the tallest person ever to fly in space at 6 feet 5 inches. Born in Houston and raised partly in Germany, he starred at Texas Southern University, setting a school record with 41.5 career sacks and earning induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025.
