Terrion Arnold (born March 22, 2003) is an American football cornerback who rose to prominence as a first-team All-American at the University of Alabama in 2023, recording 63 tackles and 5 interceptions. He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round (24th overall) of the 2024 NFL draft, signing a four-year, $14.34 million contract. In his 2025 season, he recorded his first career interception against the Vikings, but a shoulder injury ended his year and he was placed on injured reserve in December. However, his career took a dramatic turn in June 2026 when he was arrested and charged with kidnapping and robbery, stemming from incidents in early February 2026 in Tampa, Florida, allegedly connected to a robbery claim of over $250,000 in items. After two individuals pled guilty to the charges, Arnold was placed on house arrest and subsequently released by the Lions on June 29, 2026, with the Seattle Seahawks expected to sign him. He faces the possibility of a life sentence if convicted, and his personal life includes a close relationship with Terry Saban and being a cousin of soccer player Jordyn Bugg.
