Coby Mayo (born December 10, 2001) is an American professional baseball third baseman and first baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, making his MLB debut in 2024. A standout at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, he survived the tragic 2018 Parkland shooting and was later drafted by the Orioles in the fourth round of the 2020 MLB Draft, signing for $1.75 million instead of attending the University of Florida. He quickly rose through the minors, winning the 2023 Eastern League MVP and the 2024 International League Top MLB Prospect Award. Promoted to the majors on August 2, 2024, he recorded his first MLB hit on August 14 against the Washington Nationals. In 2025, he hit his first career home run on June 27 and finished the season with a .217 average, 11 home runs, and 28 RBIs in 85 games.
