Perth High School, a comprehensive secondary school in Perth, Scotland, was originally established in 1950 at Gowans Terrace, notable for being the first large Scottish school to use a post-war prefabricated structure. In 1971, it relocated to its current extensive campus, featuring a distinctive four-storey main teaching block. The school is currently undergoing a significant transformation, with a brand new, modern facility under construction since 2023, set to open in August 2025. This state-of-the-art building will accommodate 1600 pupils and 140 staff, offering modern amenities including a 3G sports pitch, while the 1971 building was celebrated with an Open Evening in June 2025 before its scheduled demolition. Among its many distinguished alumni are businesswoman Ann Gloag, tennis player Elena Baltacha, actor Colin McCredie, and Lord Ericht, Andrew Stewart.
