Reality of Wrestling (ROW): An Independent Wrestling Promotion
Reality of Wrestling (ROW) emerged from the Pro Wrestling Alliance (PWA), founded by Booker T in 2005. The promotion aimed to provide a training ground for professional wrestlers and honor the legacy of Houston Wrestling. In 2012, PWA rebranded as ROW, naming their home arena the Booker T World Gym Arena.
ROW has established a weekly YouTube show and a local television program in Houston. It also partnered with Soul of the South Network to expand its reach to 20 cities. The promotion launched its first internet pay-per-view in 2014 and its episodes are now available on FITE TV. ROW's unique training school offers a two-year program for aspiring wrestlers.
In 2019, ROW collaborated with Impact Wrestling for the Deep Impact event. The promotion expanded its reach outside of Texas in 2021 with One Night in Vegas at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. Notably, ROW joined the WWE Independent Development (ID) program in 2024, becoming an independent wrestling school for WWE's developmental talent.
ROW features various championships, including the ROW World Heavyweight Championship, ROW World Tag Team Championship, and ROW Women's Championship. The promotion has also hosted notable independent wrestling stars and televised matches, drawing attention in the wrestling community.
